Every company has foundational values. Barbary Coast Divers is no exception. Besides safety, quality, and fun, affordability is at the core of what I want to ensure. One way to do so is by being flexible.

While I can offer a great deal on courses, guided dives, hotels, and meals, there is one ever changing cost over which I have no control yet, flights.

To help with ensuring affordability, I monitor the price of flights around scheduled trips. If prices are significantly different compared to the set dates, I’ll put to the confirmed participants to see if the price difference is worth it for everyone to shift dates.

That’s why we’ve changed the dates for the February 2025 fun-diving trip to Utila. It turned out that flights for the week before were 49% cheaper and everyone was available and enthusiastic about the change and savings.

Sometimes such a change would not work, but this flexibility is how I’ll keep my affordability promise to you.

The trip is now February 8 – 15. So in case the original dates didn’t work for you or the flights were just too expensive, hopefully this change will make it possible for you to join us.
